Biography

Ultraman Prime, also known as Ultraman Tiga the Second, is the son of Ultraman Tiga and the younger brother of Ultrawoman Zepellion. He's the main hero of the Children of Tiga series, along with his sister.

Etymology

His name 'Prime', comes from the show Ultraman The Prime, yeah it's a dumb reason, I know.

History

Children of Tiga

After Tsubasa Madoka returned to his proper timeline after the events of Ultraman Tiga Gaiden: Revival of the Ancient Giant, he returns to Neo Super GUTS and tells the team about the event. A day after, an Orgo appears in a city and starts causing havoc. Wanting to stop the kaiju from killing any more innocents, his possession of the Ultraman Factor and his unusually high willpower allowed him to create the Sparklence. Using the transformation item, Tsubasa transforms into Ultraman Prime for the first time. The Ultra Warrior fought Orgo and defeated him, albeit with some difficulty.

After a few battles against monsters and receiving training from his father and Dyna, Prime would later be assisted by his sister, Ultrawoman Zepellion, in defending humanity on Earth, Mars, and beyond.

Ultraman Notus

The Children of Tiga travels to the World of Ultraman Gaia and teams up with Ultraman Notus to defeat a formidable foe.

Children of Tiga Returns: Ultraman Prime

Ultraman Prime appears in this special as the main focus of the story, taking place two years after the event of Children of Tiga. He, along with his father, Dyna, Gaia, and Agul, comes to stop the Inferno Demon Monster Zaigorg and his army of Inferno Demon Clones from rampaging the world. During this conflict, Prime gains a new form that goes beyond his limits.

Children of Tiga: Attack on Glacier

Battling Shadow Lord Kyrieloid through multiple dimensions, the Children of Tiga beat the Kyrieloid down to Planet Glacier in the Central Space Universe. With the Shadow Lord still alive, the siblings set foot on the ice planet and met an Ultra known as "Snowy". Healing the new Ultra's injuries from his fight against Shadow Servant Waroga and quickly befriending him, the three heroes team up to defeat the Shadow Lord and the Shadow Servant. After defending Ultra Megalopolis from Gobnu Giga Customs, dealing with a Light Shard-enhanced Gitora, and rescuing Ultraman Lightning from Alien Groza, Alien Deathre, and two new Gobnu variants, the four Ultras face off the against Shadow Lord Kyrieloid, Shadow Servant Waroga, and the remaining members of the Base Origin Alliance. They won with the help of Lightning's parents, Ultraman Magnus and Ultrawoman Tetra.

Ultra Fight GX

Prime, Zepellion, Notus, Ryusei, and Nexo are all brought together to stop Charija's latest machinations. The Shinseki Heroes are formed in this miniseries.

Battle Against the Great Anathium Plague

Ultras from across the multiverse fought together against the Horde of Madness. Prime and Zepellion were one of those Ultras fighting against this great threat. The intense battle led to the creation of Prime's Ultra Essence Crystal, a solidified fragment of his Inner Light.

Ultraman Zora

Prime is set to appear in this series, with his Ultra Essence Crystal being used to create Ultraman Zora's Prime Gattler and Spacium Zeperion Junior forms.

Unite! Ultras from 26 Universes: Defeat the Dark Sorcerer!

Prime and Zepellion were one of many Ultras called to battle against Kumasaga in an alternate World of Side Space, being told of the events by Ultraman One.

The Children of Tiga helps Ultrawoman Neith face off against the revived Ultraman Whalan.

Non-Canon

Ultra Hero Taisen 2: The Universal Ultra Great Tournament!

Prime appeared in this sequel to Ultra Hero Taisen! as one of the main characters. Kidnapped with his father and sister by the figure known as Fight King, they are forced to fight in a huge tournament with other abducted Ultras from across the multiverse to ensure their own survival. After the first round, Prime and other young Ultras formed a group to end the Great Taisen. A few rounds and shenanigans later, Fight King is defeated and Ultraman Trope kills everyone.

Ultras' Bizarre Adventure/Ultra Mania

Ultraman Prime appears as one of the main characters in this non-canon roleplay series along with his sister. He made his first debut in Ultras' Bizarre Adventure: Into The Altiverse 2. He later appears in the spiritual successor series, Ultra Mania, debuting in its first installment.

Body Features

  • Prime Crystal: Like his father, Prime also has a light crystal on his forehead. It is required for Prime's Type Changes. Prime's Type Change process usually takes only 0.5 seconds.
  • Eyes: Prime possesses natural night vision as he can see just as clearly in the dark as he can in bright light.
  • Protectors: Like his father, Prime has Protectors on his upper body. They are indestructible pieces of armor, the sturdiest portions of his anatomy. They can charge and manipulate energy.
  • Ultra Armor: Prime's skin can withstand high heat environments and low temperatures. It is does not show scratches and is resistant to fire and beams.

Transformation

To transform, Tsubasa Madoka raises the Crimson Sparklence to the sky and activates it. When gripped tightly, the Crimson Sparklence's wing-like "appendages" then unfold and light shines from it, transforming Tsubasa into Prime.

Multi Type is Prime's default form, which has equal parts of strength and mobility. It is designed for melee combat.

  • Form Split: In Multi Type, Prime can split himself into Power Type and Sky Type.

  • Zeperion Shoot: Ultraman Prime's signature move in Multi Type, an "L" style beam similar to Ultraman Tiga's Zeperion Beam. Can be supercharged to shoot as the Zeperion Cannon, it is five times as powerful as the normal Zeperion Shoot.
  • Timer Flash Special: Prime can either unleash an intense light or fire a rainbow-colored beam from his Color Timer.
  • Spacium Beam: Prime can fire the Spacium Beam.
    • Spacium Machine Gun: Prime fires the Spacium Beam in the form of multiple energy blasts in rapid succession that can overwhelm and destroy the enemy if they are hit with enough energy blasts.
    • Spacium Triple Beam: Prime can fire three Spacium Beams at once, or condense them into one powerful beam.
  • Zeperion Slash: Prime forms a white buzzsaw-like projectile disc to slice his opponent, performed similarly to the charge-up of both Ultraman's Ultra Slash and Tiga's Zeperion Beam.
    • Zeperion Triple Slash: The Zeperion Slash can be separated into three discs at will.
    • Giga Zeperion Slash: A gigantic variation where Prime summons the Zeperion Slash, charging it into a larger halo before tossing it to the enemy.
    • Zeperion Shuriken: A hand-sized energy shuriken, which can be fired multiple times.
  • Hand Slash: Prime can launch continuous energy blasts from his hands, performed by cupping one hand to his side and using the other to toss the energy.

  • Prime Punch: A punch attack.
    • Prime Multi Punch: A continuously punching attack.
    • Zeperion Punch: A punch empowered with Zeperion energy.
    • Zeperion Comet: Prime empowers his fist with Zeperion energy and strikes the opponent multiple times rapidly, with the last punch sending the foe flying into the air and exploding.
  • Prime Kick: A kick attack.
    • Prime Multi Kick: A continuously kicking attack.
    • Zeperion Kick: A kick empowered with Zeperion energy.
    • Zeperion Storm: A barrage of rapid, Zeperion energy-enhanced kicks.
  • Prime Chop: A chop attack.
    • Prime Multi Chop: A continuously chopping attack.
    • Zeperion Chop: A chop empowered with Zeperion energy.
    • Zeperion Slap Shot: An energized chop where Prime slices the opponent as he passes.

  • Prime Throw: An attack which involves Prime spinning the enemy before tossing them.
Other
  • Prime Defender: Prime summons a swirling barrier of light to block attacks and deflect them. This shield can be also used to push objects away physically.
    • Prime Dome: Prime can create a dome version of his Prime Defender.
    • Prime Containment Orb: Prime releases a stream of blue energy from his right hand at the enemy. He then spreads it to his left hand which encases the enemy inside of a bubble. This bubble can then be maneuvered.
    • Arm Defender: Prime uses his hands, coated with Zeperion energy, to block beams. He can also send them back towards whoever fires them.

Power Type

Power Type is Prime's strength form. This form is called upon when Prime wishes to exert more physical power, but the cost is speed and agility. It is designed for high power and combat in high pressure environments.

  • Flame and Heat Absorption: Prime can absorb flames from surrounding areas into his body to enhance his physical and energy attacks. Prime can also absorb heat-based attacks from foes and other forms of energy to make himself stronger.

Special
  • Deracium Beam Ball: Power Type's finishing move. Prime can gather heat energy by spreading his arms apart, coming together at his chest as he holds the energy in a ball form. He then hurls it at the enemy, capable of completely obliterating whatever it hits.
  • Zeperion Shoot: Prime is able to fire a Power Type version of the Zeperion Shoot by spreading his arms apart like the pose of Deracium Beam Ball to gather heat energy, Prime then fires it in an L-shape.
  • Timer Flash Cannon: Prime fires a blast of red energy from his Color Timer.
  • Primal Shoot: Power Type's version of the Spacium Beam. A release of destructive orange energy in a standard '+' arm formation.
Physical
  • Deracium Punch: A flaming punch attack using either or both of his hands.
    • Deracium Rush: Prime performs a rapid series of flaming punches before delivering a final punch strong enough to launch the enemy.
  • Deracium Kick: A flaming kick attack.
  • Deracium Chop: A flaming chop attack.
  • Primal Swing: Prime grabs his opponent and throws them into the air with enough force to generate a miniture hurricane.
  • Deracium Dynamite: Prime channels Power Type's strength and his entire body bursts into flames. He then dashes at the opponent, grabs them, and explodes on contact. After the attack, Prime can reform his body from particles in the area. However, upon reforming, Prime is both physically and energetically exhausted.

  • Deracium Defender: A circular barrier made of Deracium energy that can reflect beam attacks.

Sky Type

Sky Type

Sky Type is Prime's speed form, where he trades much of his strength for great speed and agility making him much faster than any of his other Types. It is designed for high-speed melee and aerial combat.

  • Runboldt Beam Arrow: Sky Type's finishing move. Prime can create a giant energy bow to unleash a large cyan energy arrow that can destroy monsters in one blow.
    • Runboldt Beam Divide: Prime can shoot five Runboldt Beam Arrows at once to destroy multiple monsters.
  • Runboldt Freezer: By doing the charge-up sequence of the Runboldt Beam Shell, Prime fires a beam above his foes which explodes into a thick mist that freezes the target and stuns them with electricity.
  • Zeperion Shoot: Just like in Power Type, Prime is able to fire a Sky Type version of the Zeperion Shoot.
  • Timer Flash Lightning: Prime fires a beam of electricity from his Color Timer.
  • Spacium Current: Sky Type's version of the Spacium Beam. Prime can fire a slightly stronger Spacium Beam surrounded by bolts of blue electricity.

  • Runboldt Punch: An electric-infused punch attack.
  • Runboldt Kick: An electric-infused kick attack.
    • Prime Machine Kick: A series of bicycle kicks done at fast speeds.
    • Runboldt Light Kick: A flying kick similar to Ultraman Leo's Leo Kick. Prime jumps 1,000 feet in the air and charges his foot with Runboldt energy, striking his opponent with a powerful jump-kick. Can destroy monsters in one hit.
  • Runboldt Chop: An electric-infused chop attack.
  • Runboldt Elbow: A powerful elbow strike charged with electricity.
  • Runboldt Tackle: Prime charges himself with Runboldt energy and tackles his foe.
  • Runboldt Hurricane: A high-positioned giant swing.

Trinity Type is Prime's upgraded form, which combines the powers of Multi Type, Power Type, and Sky Type.

  • Multi Emanation: Prime crosses his fists to the front of his face and brings them down to his waists in a stance similar to Type Change, bursts of a blend of red and purple mists encircling his body, while his Color Timer and eyes glow gold. This temporarily unleashes the true power of Power Type, Sky Type, and Glitter Version, allowing him to move at unperceivable speeds and smash with unrivaled strength, vanquishing evil with the power of light.

    • Trinitium Cannon: An improved version of the supercharged Zeperion Shoot.

    • Trinitium Beam Arrow: An improved version of the Runboldt Beam Arrow.
  • Timer Flash Trinity: Prime can fire three powerful, different colored (yellow, red, and purple) split beam of energy from his Color Timer that converge into one, that annihilate the opponent. This is an improved version of the Timer Flash Special.
    • Flash Prison: Prime encases the foe in an orb and fires his Timer Flash Trinity at it, upon being hit by the attack the orb glows in a golden light and fires a barrage or Timer Flashes at the foe inside.
  • Trinitium Slash: An improved version of the Zeperion Slash, which can come in multiple shapes and sizes, from a small shuriken to a buzzsaw larger than he is.
  • Attack Slash: Prime can launch a burst of energy in the shape of an arrowhead from his hand. It's an improved version of Multi Type's Hand Slash.

  • Trinity Punch: A powerful energy-infused punch attack.
  • Trinity Kick: A powerful energy-infused kick attack.
  • Trinity Chop: A powerful energy-infused chop attack.
  • Hurricane Spinner: Prime lifts the opponent, throws them high into the air, and uses his feet to hit his opponent multiple times.
  • Trinity Dynamite: Prime channels Power Type's strength and his entire body bursts into flames. He then channels Sky Type's speed and rams his enemy at insane speeds. This is Prime's strongest attack in Trinity Type.

Ultraman Prime Beyond is Prime's Fusion Rise form which uses assets of Ultraman Tiga, Dyna, Gaia, and Cosmos. This form debuts in Children of Tiga Returns: Ultraman Prime.

  • Quattro Slash: Prime creates 4 light rings and throws them at his target(s).
  • Timing Chorus: A technique which involves Prime firing the Timer Flash Special and the Bulky Chorus simultaneously at the enemy.
  • Multi Flash Slicer: Prime flies into the air and spins. After spinning, he fires two energy arrows (one from each hand) at the enemy.
  • Garlacium Bomber: Prime charges up a ball of fire and launches it towards the opponent.
  • Garlalium Light Wave: Prime gathers energy and releases a stream of light that traps enemies in a dimensional field that then explodes. Alternatively he can intercept an enemy attack and convert it into this very beam.
  • Flame Compression Wave: Prime charges energy into a sphere in front of him, which releases a stream of flames that knock the target into an alternate dimension.
  • Luna Beam Slicer: Prime can fire a blue energy beam from one of his hands.
Physical
  • Beyond Punch: A punch attack that is empowered by purple energy.
    • Ultra Hundred-Fierce Punch: A continuous rapid punching attack.
  • Beyond Kick: A kick attack that is empowered by purple energy.
    • Ultra Hundred-Fierce Kick: A continuous kicking attack.
  • Beyond Chop: A chop attack.
  • Psychic Throw: Prime picks up an enemy and throws them. Just before releasing them, he uses his telekinetic powers to further enhance the technique. Can throw equal-sized enemies into the Sun.
  • Dynamo Cannonball: Prime releases the energy from his whole body and becomes a mass of energy and hits the enemy.
  • Beyond Leap Attack: An attack which involves him continuously strikes his opponent, while at the same time, tricking them.

Prime Dark
Prime Dark is a dark/corrupted version of Prime akin to Tiga Dark.

Prime Noir
Prime Noir is the result of Prime's training to master the power of darkness. It has the same stats and abilities as Prime Dark, but stabilized and with no possible control issues.
