Bugbuzun is an insect-like Kaiju and the first Kaiju Ultraman Legacy ever faced.
History[]
Bugbuzun first appeared a week after Legacy joined the AKDF (obviously while in human form). He was spotted coming out of the ground in the Japanese countryside and the AKDF was sent in to deal with the monster. Once encountering the creature the AKDF flew in and attacked with their weapons. Bubgbuzun was unharmed by the attack but they did manage to get the monster's attention. Bugbuzun took flight and attempted to attack the AKDF's planes. He managed to take down one of them with his claws, but Ultraman Legacy appeared and caught the plane. Legacy quickly flew downwards and place the plane on the ground, and prepared to battle Bugbuzun. Bugbuzun and Legacy began their battle, with Bugbuzun attacking rapidly but Legacy managing to dodge most of the attacks. Bugbuzun attempted to hit Legacy in the face with his claws, but Legacy managed to block the attack with his Legacy Blade, cutting off the claws on Bugbuzun's right hand in the process. Bugbuzun reeled back in pain, but continued to attack. Eventually, Bugbuzun flew into the air and swooped back down towards Legacy, only for the insect Kaiju to blasted in the face by Legacy's Legacy Beam.

- Claws. Bugbuzun's claws are sharp enough to cut through an Ultra's skin, hence why Legacy took care to dodge them.
Trivia[]
- Bugbuzun was for a period of time the only Ultraman Nexus kaiju to appear in Ultraman Legacy. This has since changed with the incorporation of other Nexus Kaiju into the series.
- Bugbuzun is also a relatively new monster for the series, considering that he has never appeared in the Nebula M78 universe, which Legacy's universe is based on.

- I shall confirm that Bugbuzun, and other used Nexus Kaiju, unless alluded otherwise, are not connected to Dark Zagi in this continuity.
